The Pototskiy Palace is situated in Lviv. The palace had been built in order of count Alfred II Pototskiy in 1889 . The Palace, in style of classicism, was erected on the place of Pototski estate. The French and Polish architects had designed this wonderful palace.
In some time after the beginning of the palace’s building the count had died. The building had stopped. His son Roman has decided to finish his father’s deed.
The palace is built in the French style. Exactly the erecting of this palace, had become the push for the building of Lviv’s buildings in the French style.

The Powder tower of 1554-1556 is if a single important fortification monument of Lviv’s building, which had kept till nowadays.
Generally there were some powerful towers, gates and bastions, which had been defending the city, but the only one the Powder tower had left till nowadays. The stones from the old Town arsenal have been used for its building. The tower was the most powerful, because just from this side the Eastern assailants have been appearing. The defensive banks are the tower’s support. They had kept since ancient times. But 200 years ago the park, called Gubernatorial banks, because the Austrian residence was here, had built on them.

The castle is situated on the picturesque hill surrounded from three sides with the wide pond. There are no documental facts about the time of its foundation. According to the researchers’ ideas it could be erected already in XV century.
In 1648 the fortifying has been destroyed by the Cossack detachments in the period of Polish-Cossack wars. Since the second half of XVII century the castle has been lapsing to the property of the count Alexander Tsentner, who had decided to rebuild it into the fortified residence.

The Greek-Catholic cathedral of Saint Yuriy is the pearl of Ukrainian architecture. The cathedral is situated on the west a little aside of historical centre of Lviv. Near the temple the park is approaching until the cathedral, the trees are calling with its silhouette and sculpture design. It as if goes on and finishes the hill’s slopes, creating the indissoluble whole of nature and architecture.
The first stone temple of Saint Yuriy was four-columned of Byzantine type.
